YOUR MISSIONS:The Lorient site hosts activities related to the study, design, and construction of surface ships and naval systems for the Navy and international clients.This position, within the Procurement department, ideally starts in January 2025. Surrounded by a team of 18 colleagues, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of purchased industrial items (managed in stock) on time and in compliance, while optimizing stock levels to contribute to the production master plan and meet milestones and commitments to clients.
Your main missions:
- Analyze the need expression and place orders
- Act as operational liaison with suppliers
- Manage contract execution until delivery: preventive and curative follow-ups, updating promise dates
- Identify and address resource/need discrepancies.
- Monitor and contribute to improving supplier delivery performance in collaboration with procurement and Supplier Quality managers
- Handle supplier anomalies: disputes upon receipt, anomaly forms, etc.
- Monitor and optimize stock levels: handle unavailable stock, propose management solutions, process scrap, monitor consumption
- Communicate cross-functionally: Procurement, Industrialization, Installation Managers, Goods Reception Control Unit, Production, Work Package Manager, etc.
Profile
AND YOU?
Your education:
- Bachelor's degree +2 or equivalent with professional experience in Procurement (a plus)
- Master the fundamentals of Supply Chain
- Be familiar with Export control rules and material typologies
- Know planning and scheduling processes
- ERPs: good knowledge of CBN operation
- Excel and associated analyses through Pivot Tables
- English: to communicate in English with foreign suppliers
- Managing supplier relations
- Detaching from details to summarize complex situations
- Prioritizing and being concise
- Reporting malfunctions constructively
- Displaying analytical and critical thinking, proposing ideas, having good interpersonal skills
