For our logistics department, we are looking for an experienced Shipping Import-Export Clerk 1 (m/f/d), permanent Duties:

• Ensure efficient and smooth operations in all logistics areas
• Leadership and development of employees
• Collaboration in a common team with multiple subordinate departments (goods receipt, goods issue, goods receipt control, warehouse, import/export)
• Monitoring, coordination, and optimization of logistics processes using KPIs internally
• Coordination of external logistics service providers
• Ensuring compliance with compliance requirements as well as all relevant laws and internal regulations
• Promotion of an innovation culture for continuous improvement of processes and collaboration
• Deputy for customs & export manager
• Active contribution and assistance in the specialist areas
• Direct reporting line to the Logistics Manager

Qualification:

• Completed degree in business administration or logistics or a commercial training with comparable qualification (ideally with additional qualification as a logistics manager)
• Several years of professional experience in a similar position
• Extensive experience in personnel management
• Sound knowledge in controlling with business figures
• Strong communication skills and confident appearance as well as a transformative leadership personality
• Excellent analytical skills and in-depth process understanding
• Structured, goal-oriented and independent way of working
• Knowledge in working with SAP R3 advantageous
• Prior knowledge in the area of import/export/customs/foreign trade law advantageous
• Negotiation-proof German and very good English skills in spoken and written form
