Licensed Nurse

As a licensed nurse in Hedemora municipality, you have a varied job. You work broadly and coordinate efforts both independently and together with colleagues in a competent healthcare team, for the benefit of residents.

The municipality is responsible for health and medical care services up to the nurse level. In your job as a nurse in municipal healthcare, you meet and assist individuals with a great need for care and health services within elderly care, LSS, and social psychiatry.

Responsibilities:

• You plan and structure work largely independently towards the individual patient and their relatives.
• You assess and perform medical treatment and care measures, which you also follow up and document according to applicable legislation.
• You have close contact with other nursing staff, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, unit managers, assistance officers, and regional facilities.
• You educate and supervise nursing staff, patients, and their relatives.

Qualifications:

The position requires that you are a licensed nurse.

Experience in the profession is advantageous but not a requirement, so we also welcome you as a newly graduated nurse.

You collaborate, interact and communicate in a professional, respectful, and positive manner.

You have good language skills in Swedish both orally and in writing, as well as computer skills.

The position requires a B driver's license for manual transmission.

Familiarity with working independently and with initiative as the position involves some independent work.
