Kalmar Women's Clinic is looking for nurses or midwives who want to work in the gynecological department. We care for women throughout their lives. Working as a nurse or midwife in the care department involves a variety of tasks such as nursing care, telephone advice, and our own emergency department. We also have our own cytostatic and abortion services. We have a patient-focused operation with high quality and safety. The patient is always the focus, and we take the time for each patient to provide the best care. There is a positive atmosphere among the staff, and we enjoy working together. We place a strong emphasis on working in different process groups where you can contribute significantly to developing and working based on your skills and interests. After you have been with us for a while, you will have the opportunity to have your own areas of responsibility.

At the Women's Clinic, you will work day/evening/night shifts. Initially, your workplace will be in the gynecological department, but once you feel comfortable in your work, there is an opportunity to rotate to the clinic.

About You

We are looking for licensed nurses or midwives who are interested in women's health and want to work with us at the Women's Clinic. Experience in a care ward is advantageous. We believe that you are service-oriented, empathetic, and have good teamwork skills.

Your Future Workplace

The Women's Clinic has about 200 employees in the fields of obstetrics/BB care, gynecology, specialized maternity care, and urotherapy. We consist of three different areas: obstetrics, gynecology, and maternity care. The gynecological section focuses on gynecological diseases and treatments, as well as early pregnancy complications up to and including the 21st week of pregnancy. Ward 5 has 6 care beds and 4 day care beds. The maternity ward/BB unit cares for mothers and babies during childbirth and pregnant women with complications starting from the 22nd week of pregnancy. Maternity care involves pregnancy monitoring, parent groups, contraceptive counseling, gynecological cell sample checks, and youth activities. We are present in midwifery clinics, youth clinics, and family centers, totaling 14 clinics. In addition, there is specialized maternity care that handles many ultrasound examinations/screenings during pregnancy and manages pregnant women with complicated medical conditions.

Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital provides emergency care, specialized care, childbirth care, and BB care. Over 2300 people work here to offer good care and high patient safety to the county's residents.
