Within the orthopedics department at Danderyd Hospital, patients with various orthopedic diseases and injuries are treated. The clinic performs acute and planned surgery for patients aged 15 years and older. We care for patients with everything from basic to complex fractures. Our patients are often multisick with a high need for care, which gives our nurses a high and broad competence. The orthopedic clinic's areas of expertise are trauma surgery, shoulder and elbow surgeries, as well as complications after hip and knee prosthesis surgery.
- Registered nurse- Experience in acute care is beneficial- Further education in acute care or surgery is beneficial

About the business
In the Orthopedics department, we have extensive experience in basic to complex fracture and joint prosthesis surgery and are at the forefront of treating other injuries and diseases in both the skeleton and soft tissues. The Orthopedic Clinic has four orthopedic inpatient wards as well as an operating department, reception, paramedics, and dietitians. On the inpatient wards, we care for both acute and elective patients with various injuries to the skeleton or soft tissues around the skeleton. We operate around the clock, with about 300 people working.
