Nurse for Specialist Psychiatric Practice 3, S:t Eriksplan
Description
Specialist psychiatric practice 3 is an outpatient clinic for the assessment and treatment of patients with ADHD and concomitant psychiatric issues. The practice is located at S:t Eriksplan and belongs to the City section within Norra Stockholms psychiatry. We are approximately 25 employees, many with extensive experience and broad expertise. Here, doctors, nurses, counselors, psychologists, occupational therapists, caregivers, and medical secretaries work. At the practice, you will be one of five nurses.
At the practice, we value short decision-making processes, a pleasant work environment, and continuity in all professional groups. We work together in two multiprofessional teams and place great value on well-functioning diagnostic conferences and seamless collaboration between professional categories. As part of our specialty mission, we offer patient and family education for ADHD digitally and on-site.
Responsibilities
As a nurse at the practice, you play a crucial role in the treatment of patients with ADHD (including follow-up and optimization of central stimulant treatment). Other duties include assessment and allocation of patient cases, work in 'Always Open,' telephone counseling, contact with patients for psychosocial advice, and some specimen collection. As a nurse, you are part of an interdisciplinary team consisting of doctors, occupational therapists, counselors, and psychologists. Remote work opportunities are available to some extent.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with further training in psychiatry.
We seek someone with good teamwork skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with patients, colleagues, and other partners. The job requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to varying needs.
We also prefer if you have an interest and commitment to the treatment of ADHD, with experience and knowledge in the field. While the work is team-based, it also demands a high degree of independence to plan and carry out tasks autonomously.
We work in the TakeCare journal system. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Conditions
Full-time. Permanent position. Start date to be agreed upon. Selection will be ongoing during the application period.
The practice applies flextime responsibly. We offer wellness hours and provide wellness benefits. Individual salary determination.
