Operating Room Nurse Capio Artro Clinic Sophiahemmet
About us
Capio Artro Clinic is Sweden's leading sports injury clinic. We are a highly specialized orthopedic clinic that was established in 1992 as part of S:t Gorans Hospital. Since 2007, the clinic has been located at Sophiahemmet in central Stockholm, and since 2015, we have also been present in the Globen area. We also have a unit in Umea since 2022 and a unit in Gardet since 2023. We are a highly specialized orthopedic facility in both arthroscopic surgery in the knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, and elbow, as well as in hip and knee replacement surgery. We perform approximately 5,000 surgeries per year in our operating department and perform the most cruciate ligament surgeries in Sweden. In addition to pure orthopedics with outpatient work and surgery, the clinic also has one of Stockholm's largest specialized activities in physiotherapy focusing on sports medicine and orthopedics. Rehabilitation is carried out both at Sophiahemmet and at a branch in the Globen area.
There is a deep and broad knowledge in orthopedics, rehabilitation, and sports medicine at the clinic. Our employees are our greatest asset and are dedicated to delivering the best possible care for each patient. We rely on our knowledgeable and responsible employees to create an attractive workplace together.
Capio Artro Clinic has a collaboration with the Center for Sports Injury Research and Education (CIFU), which is a center formation together with MMK at the Karolinska Institute and the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH). Through CIFU, we have created a creative environment where clinic, research, and education are conducted under the same roof within the Sophiahemmet area.
Our operating department at Capio Artro Clinic consists of five operating rooms at Sophiahemmet and two at Gardet. We offer the possibility of rotation between these units, which gives you a broader experience and contributes to your professional development. Work is done during the day on weekdays, and the department is closed on weekends and holidays.
