SEO Manager at Kronans Apotek (Temp)
We are now looking for a temporary SEO Manager to join the Digital Activation team at Kronans Apotek! In this role, you will drive our SEO strategy across our digital channels. The goal? Team and Your Role:As a temporary SEO Manager, your focus will be on leading work in three main areas: technical SEO, on-page SEO, and off-page SEO. You will work closely with colleagues within the team as well as with colleagues in campaigns, assortment, marketing, and product development to ensure that all content is optimized for search engines and that our digital marketing campaigns align with our SEO goals. Since SEO is constantly evolving, you will stay updated on new trends, tools, and techniques - and ensure that we test and implement smart solutions where applicable.
You will be part of a team of five other talents who are passionate about their specific areas within digital marketing. We always strive to improve and enjoy sharing our knowledge with each other to find new ways forward. We love delivering great results, but we also make sure to have fun while doing it! As part of our team, you can expect to be challenged in various competitions and activities during the week's most important meeting - our team activity.
In the role, you will be responsible for the following areas of responsibility and tasks:
- Manage, drive, and optimize a long-term SEO strategy with the goal of strengthening organic visibility, increasing conversions, and contributing to business growth.
- Ensure and further develop technical SEO according to best practices, as well as specify and prioritize improvements in collaboration with the development team.
- Perform and interpret competitive analyses to identify opportunities and threats within the organic search landscape and provide relevant recommendations.
- Monitor and analyze search trends, both onsite and offsite.
- Lead keyword strategy by conducting in-depth keyword analysis, mapping search intent, and optimizing content accordingly.
- Produce SEO-optimized content for category and advisory pages.
- Optimize and improve existing content based on analysis and insights to strengthen rankings and drive more traffic.
- Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on SEO results.
- Contribute to the overall digital strategy by ensuring that the SEO perspective is integrated into broader marketing and business initiatives.
About the Position:The position is a temporary position for at least 12 months starting in early June, as our current SEO manager is going on parental leave. You will be welcomed to our nice office (with a magical view and a lovely roof terrace) in Stadshagen. We practice hybrid work, but enjoy meeting at the office about three days a week. You will report to the Head of Digital Activation.
Your Profile:We are looking for someone with a relevant university or professional education in digital marketing and at least 3-5 years of SEO experience, preferably in e-commerce. You have deep knowledge of search engine optimization and know how to create long-term growth through organic traffic.
In addition to your technical understanding, you understand how UX and other traffic channels affect SEO results. You are a skilled communicator with a sharp eye for language, and can write engaging SEO-optimized texts. Moreover, you have experience with analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Semrush, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog, and are accustomed to working with AI tools like ChatGPT to streamline processes.
As a person, you are business-driven, proactive, and have a humble attitude. You enjoy collaborating with other colleagues and transitioning between strategic and operational work. Additionally, you are solution-oriented and comfortable in an environment where quick decisions and new opportunities constantly arise.
