About the roleWe are now looking to further strengthen our Purchasing and Logistics department with an additional Operational Buyer. The role involves operational tasks such as handling forecasts, supplier relations, availability monitoring, and shelf pressure, as well as assisting in strategic tasks. The goal is to ensure efficient and optimized supply chain management and to be well acquainted with our business goals, supporting the organization by acting and making decisions in line with these.
Key responsibilities- Order placement for central warehouse and stores
- Ensuring good availability and optimizing inventory levels
- Delivery monitoring
- Forecasting, analysis, and procurement follow-up
- Measurement and follow-up of supplier performance
To succeed as an operational buyer, we would like to see that you have experience in purchasing in some form from a previous position. It is advantageous if you have relevant education in procurement, logistics, and/or finance. You enjoy working in a structured manner with realistic expectations. Your ability to combine accuracy and attention to detail with a holistic perspective and the ability to quickly see cause and effect make you successful in your work.
As an Operational Buyer, you are an important representative of Mio when it comes to nurturing and building business relationships with suppliers worldwide. In your role, you also have many collaborative relationships, both within your team and the company, which places high demands on your communication skills and open attitude. You enjoy creating conditions that drive both relationships and results in a positive direction. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is a requirement for the position, as well as very good knowledge of Office 365. Experience in business systems and/or store work is considered an advantage.
The position is located at our office in Tibro and ongoing selection is applied.
