Are you interested in contributing to the development of psychiatric inpatient care? The general psychiatric inpatient care provides care to patients in need of general psychiatric inpatient care at the highest level. We work in multi-professional teams with a holistic view of the individual and strive to promote family involvement in care. Our patients may require both psychiatric and somatic care simultaneously. We are now looking for nurses who want to be part of the development work in General Psychiatry Ward 3.
Ward 3 is a general psychiatric ward with ten beds, four of which are intensive care beds for patients with particularly high care needs. The patient group includes patients with psychoses, mania, depression, as well as patients with eating disorder problems. We often collaborate with the eating disorder unit and the brain stimulation unit to ensure a diverse range of care services.
We will largely focus on the professional development of our staff, making your role as a nurse crucial. The working environment is a key foundation of our work - if the staff feels good, so can the patients.

As a nurse, you have a supervisory role and work to provide excellent and safe psychiatric and somatic care at all stages of life in collaboration with, among others, caregivers and doctors. You can identify and actively prevent health risks and, when necessary, motivate for changes in lifestyle to promote, prevent, or restore health. You need to be able to lead and delegate departmental work.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with patients and always has the patient's best interests in mind. You should be confident in yourself and your role as a nurse, with an ethical and professional approach in all encounters. You are interested in working with both care and treatment interventions for patients with severe psychiatric symptoms in the acute phase, and collaborating in a team to ensure good and safe care and treatment. The work in the facility is based on great commitment, attentiveness, a positive attitude, and good collegiality, which requires teamwork and social skills. You will play a crucial role in daily work as well as an actor and resource for the development of the facility. Experience in psychiatry is an advantage but not essential. We place great importance on personal qualities. The supervisory role is important in our units, and you need to be able to lead and delegate work.
