About the positionYour main task in the Central Cash Desk is to register arrivals for patients, take payment via card, invoice, or cash, and refer them to the right reception area. You also post-register patients who have not passed by the cashier before their visit. This means correcting errors, handling refunds, and sending messages in the TakeCare system when needed. As part of your daily work, you answer calls in the Central Cash Desk and take both external and internal calls.
In your role, tasks within the information function may also occur. Then you help visitors and patients on-site or by phone by guiding them around the hospital, lending out wheelchairs, and booking transport services or taxis as needed. You order patient transport when required and ensure that deliveries and messages are directed to the right place while handling lost property. In addition, you assist relatives in finding patients who have been admitted, and if necessary, you also support in cashier work.

Requirements:
- - Minimum high school diploma in one of the following programs: hotel and restaurant, commerce, economics, administration, or another program/equivalent work experience that the employer deems relevant based on the job description.
- - Be well-versed in working on digital platforms and have good knowledge of Office365 as well as web-based administrative tools/system support such as TakeCare, SectraRis, Raindance, ClokWork, Office 365, and Teams
- - Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
- - Have good communication skills as there is a lot of contact with patients and visitors
- - Ability to interpret and apply regulations regarding, for example, public and confidentiality, regulations on patient fees, patient data law, and so on.
