About the role:
Your main task in the Central Cashier is to register patient arrivals, take payment via card, invoice, or cash, and direct them to the right reception. You also post-register patients who have not passed by the cashier before their visit. This involves correcting errors, managing refunds, and sending messages in the TakeCare system as needed. As part of your daily work, you answer the Central Cashier's phone and receive both external and internal calls.
Your role may also include tasks within the information function. There, you help visitors and patients on-site or by phone by guiding them within the hospital, providing wheelchairs, and booking transport services or taxis as needed. You order patient transport when required and ensure deliveries and packages are directed to the right place, as well as handling lost and found items. Additionally, you assist relatives in locating admitted patients, and if necessary, support in cashier tasks.

Qualifications:
Requirements:
- - At least a high school diploma in one of the following programs: hotel and restaurant, trade, economics, administration, or equivalent work experience that the employer deems relevant based on the job description
- - Familiarity with work on digital platforms and have good knowledge of Office365 as well as web-based administrative tools/system support such as TakeCare, SectraRis, Raindance, ClokWork, Office 365, and Teams
- - Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
- - Good communication skills are important due to frequent contact with patients and visitors
- - Ability to interpret and apply regulations regarding public and confidentiality, regulations on patient fees, patient data laws, and so on.
Preferred:
- - Experience in similar tasks
