1177 is a national service that operates around the clock and is available in all regions of Sweden. Through the service, our nurses provide advice to the public based on qualified medical assessments over the phone. In Region Östergötland, the 1177 unit is located in Linköping, near the travel center. Through the service, nurses provide advice to the public based on medical assessments.
When you start working with us, a well-thought-out introduction program begins, physically on site. It includes theoretical and practical training, you also get your own mentors that you can have as support and sounding board. Job description1177 is a 24/7 operation and you work with telephone advice to our residents around the clock. In your work, you use a symptom-based advice support and work from an integrated approach. In addition to the core task, you also contribute to the development of the operation. We offer you a varied, stimulating, and independent work. With us, you have the opportunity to work part of your time remotely. As a remote working nurse with us, you are never alone as we have digital ways of staying in touch with the work group. We are building a work environment where everyone feels included and updated.

About youYou are a licensed nurse with 3-5 years of clinical experience. We value multilingualism and you must have good knowledge in both spoken and written Swedish. Good IT skills and experience are a requirement. Telephone advice requires a well-developed conversation technique; you need to be independent and confident in making decisions. In addition to medical knowledge, there is also a great demand for your ability to communicate. A good capacity for multitasking is important for us to offer high-quality telephone advice where we are attentive and efficient, creating security for our callers and ensuring a safe care process.
