Sustainable Buyer at Swedish Tourist Association

Swedish Tourist Association (STF) is seeking a buyer for an exciting new role where you will have the opportunity to establish our purchasing function.
Position Overview:
As a buyer with us, you play a central role in ensuring that our services and products are sourced in a sustainable manner. You will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient procurement procedures and ensuring that our suppliers comply with our high sustainability standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish the STF purchasing function.
- Develop and implement sustainable procurement strategies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
- Negotiate and build strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers, focusing on sustainability and quality.
- Establish and maintain a supplier database and conduct supplier assessments based on sustainability and performance.
- Act as an advisor to all departments within the organization to ensure all purchases align with STF's sustainability goals.
- Develop and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sustainability and procurement performance.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining frameworks for both central and local procurement processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least five years of experience as a buyer, preferably with a focus on sustainability.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing procurement procedures.
- Good knowledge of sustainable supply chains and environmentally friendly materials.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant education in procurement, logistics, economics, or similar field.

- Driven and independent with the ability to plan, structure, and prioritize work efficiently.
- Stable, solution-oriented, energetic, and loyal.
- Good at collaborating and sharing knowledge and experiences.
