About the business
Vallentuna has two SÄBO facilities in-house, Korallen and Väsbygården's nursing home. The healthcare staff have a close collaboration between the facilities and also a common unit manager. We are now looking for a nurse who will be responsible for care for a unit where people with mostly somatic diseases reside.
We work in teams and help each other across boundaries, flexibility is a requirement in our organization and also our strength. Those of us working here are of varying ages, both men and women, and we have fun together with lots of happy laughter at lunchtime. We are a multidisciplinary team with different skills, nurses, rehab and dieticians, working from a person-centered and salutogenic approach.
Nurses' working hours are distributed during the day, evenings until 6:45 pm, and weekends on a rotating schedule. During evenings and weekends, the nurse on duty also has a consultative role in the municipality's various LSS activities. This includes, among other things, telephone consultations with advice for support assistants working there. An example of a task is to, when necessary, administer medication delegated by personnel at the LSS facilities.

Responsibilities
As a responsible nurse, you have an overall responsibility for your unit. The work involves acute and planned interventions for residents. Supervision, training, and management in the nursing care of staff at the facility. Establish and maintain good relationships with residents, relatives, and other professional categories.
We work based on national quality registers and the work is based on a person-centered approach based on the residents' needs. You are an active collaborator together with the team around residents.
Qualifications
- Registered nurse with professional experience
- Specialized competence and interest in working with people with cognitive diseases
- Experience in nursing management and a guiding approach in your work
- Good computer skills
- Proficiency in the Swedish language in speech and writing
- Driver's license B
