X-ray Nurse Night Shift - Uppsala

Within the area of the image and functional medical center (BFC), approximately 350 people work and we perform around 200,000 examinations and treatments per year. Almost 100,000 examinations are performed acutely, while the other half are scheduled examinations. Almost all imaging methods, MRI, CT (2 new machines), conventional x-ray, intervention, ultrasound, SPECT, and PET are available within the area. The operations are also carried out in Tierp and Östhammar where we conduct conventional x-rays and, shortly, also CT scans in Tierp.

At our central radiology department where you will be working, we have 24/7 operations with both acute and scheduled examinations.

Due to retirements, we are now looking for licensed x-ray nurses to join our night team at the central radiology department.

Your MissionAs an x-ray nurse at night, you will perform acute radiological examinations on CT and conventional x-rays. We also perform some examinations in the hospital's intensive care units at all hours of the day.

As a night nurse with us, the working hour measure is 32.12h/week.

Are You Right for Us?You are a trained x-ray nurse. If you have prior experience working night shifts in emergency care, we see this as an advantage, but we will place great emphasis on personal suitability. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

We OfferWe offer a full-time permanent position with access as agreed. A probationary period of up to 6 months may be applied. The work involves night shifts, but the possibility of rotating day/evening shifts may be available upon request. Access according to agreement.
