IT Technician Position

We are a team of about 25-30 employees working in areas such as applications, infrastructure, and service desk. Together in our local IT organization, we work to ensure high IT availability and functionality for the business.

As an IT technician with us, you will be a key person in maintaining and further developing our infrastructure services. We look forward to welcoming you to our team!

Your role in the transition to fossil-free energy:

• Daily operation and maintenance of our Windows server environments.
• Continuously improve and future-proof our systems.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Documentation of work.
• Handling of incidents and requests.
• Automation of daily operations.
• Active dialogue with our users to understand their needs and adapt our services accordingly.
• Comprehensive view of IT infrastructure and support in various projects and daily activities.
• Management of Active Directory and Group Policy.

We would like you to have experience with:

• Working with large data centers.
• PKI and certificate management.
• Infrastructure environments requiring high availability.
• Operating other systems, like Linux.
• Automation and script creation in corporate environments.
• Monitoring tools, hypervisors (VMware, Nutanix).
• SCCM.
• ITIL processes.

The position is located in Västerås, but there is the possibility to work remotely some days a week. On-call duty may be included in the position, usually with the option to handle it remotely according to a rotating schedule.

We are looking for someone who is curious, engaged, and always wants to be at the forefront of IT development. You appreciate the challenge that troubleshooting presents and thrive in larger organizations or service organizations. You enjoy working both locally and in close collaboration with the global IT organization of our client. You have a strong interest in IT infrastructure, especially in Microsoft Windows environments.

Qualifications:

• Higher education/post-secondary education in IT, or equivalent knowledge gained through work or other studies.
• Several years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• Experience with ITIL and ITSM tools.
• Driver's license B.
li>Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• Experience in production environments is advantageous.
